Metal Roofing & Cladding - Zinc

Zinc is fast becoming an extremely popular option as an alternative to current roof and cladding materials. The combination of multiple design capabilities aligned with minimal to no-maintenance costs, are leading to an increase in the use of zinc on both new and existing structures.

Used extensively throughout Europe even before Napoleonic times, zinc has become the material of choice for roofing, cladding and rainwater drainage. Zinc has ultimate sustainability due to its long life and because it is almost 100% recyclable. We have teamed up with one of Europe’s premier manufactures of rolled construction zinc, to offer a quality product. The result is a product that will enhance the look and appeal of any building.

We provide two variants of rolled construction zinc, Nedzink Natural and Nedzink Nova.

Nedzink Natural is the original within the range. It is both durable and aesthetically pleasing and over time develops a darker grey colour due to the progressive patination. This patina layer originates from the formation of a zinc carbonate base which in turn forms an oxide skin which is also a natural protective coating.

Nedzink Nova is pre weathered to give it a fully natural look. The colour is achieved by a chemical surface treatment. This process of weathering does not affect the natural properties of the zinc.
