The Polygum Hi-Tec generation of membranes are manufactured with a tri-laminate polyester / glass / polyester carrier, which is distinguished by its exceptional dimensional stability.



Polygum Advantages include:

• membrane softens more easily, enabling faster torch
  welding,
• structure of the underside provides an
  unprecedented degree of flexibility
• membrane unwinds better and works better into
  difficult and awkward places
• thermofusible sheet melts more quickly to ensure
  a perfect joint

Other values for the client are Slate granulation protection and aesthetically pleasing colour application. Though stable and resistant to ultra-violet radiation, the Turbo coating mass has the benefit of an additional protection treatment of slate granule surfacing. The bitumen remains pliant and flexible, with reduced fatigue resistance. The slate granules are applied in very thin layers and, with the coating mass, form a perfectly homogeneous whole.

Flat Roofing – High Performance Paralon

This reliable waterproofing system has an excellent reputation for quality and durability, with approximately over 16 million square meters of waterproofing installed in Ireland alone. Earliest Irish Paralon projects include the Bank of Ireland Cabinteely which was installed in 1980 and is still in perfectly serviceable condition. Paralon was the first torch-on felt membrane roof system to be used in Ireland.

The worldwide brand PARALON has since become the market leader in torch-on roofing systems. Encompassing a wide range of underlayers including the TOP S and TOP N series these membranes can also be applied with a TEXTURE finish that provides an additional layer of fibres adding to good mechanical performance and ageing resistance.
